What if work was different?

Amidst a health crisis, many workers have seen a glimpse of something new.

They’ve been propelled into cross-functional task teams – taskforces, tiger teams, working groups –  to solve challenging problems and help keep their organisations relevant. They’ve also been empowered to make rapid decisions and react with authority to changes in the health situation and economic headwinds we encountered.

They’ve moved to working from home – sharing important moments with their families, eating meals together and witnessing the day-to-day activities of those they love most. They’ve also experienced the ten second commute and the realisation that not all meetings need to be as long or as large as they used to be.

In this new world of work traditional work models have been challenged, with many government agencies and departments rapidly shifting to temporary remote working arrangements to deliver business continuity.

Join us and explore what this re-architected approach to work means for you and your organisation:
exploring what ‘flexible work’ really means
delving into the future of work trends that are being amplified by these changes
examining the four future worlds of work in this new age
understanding the quantifiable benefits that a re-architected approach to work can bring

WHAT WILL I GAIN

This Masterclass brings together experts to explore the findings and opportunities from Deloitte’s Future Work Models report and 2021 Government Human Capital Trends report which identify the specific characteristics that are helping organisations to make the shift from survive to thrive.

HOW WILL I LEARN

There will be a presentation and group discussion, including insights from Transport for NSW on their experience and initiatives. There will be time allocated to questions from the floor, meaning that you will also have the opportunity to play an active part in this discussion.
