ABOUT THIS EVENT

Having a strong professional network is an essential element of building your career.

But despite its importance and its many benefits, many young public sector professionals say they find the process of building a professional network to be daunting and uncomfortable.

This event will give you access to a new tool, developed by Deloitte, that can give you insights into the type of networking that works best for you.

It will show you four different personality types and the specific  ways to reach  those types during informal networking.

As part of this event, you will get access to the Deloitte Business Chemistry tool, your own personal Business Chemistry profile, the chance to hear from other young professionals about how they use the tool, and, most importantly, the opportunity to informally put what you've learned into practice over drinks and canapes.

 WHAT WILL I GAIN?

Registration to this event includes exclusive access to Business Chemistry, an online program that draws upon the latest analytics to reveal four scientifically based patterns of behaviour. Through a set of 68 questions, you’ll understand your own style and how those compare to the broader population.

During the event, you’ll learn from fellow YPs how you can use the insights of Business Chemistry to build more meaningful relationships and gain the confidence to connect more effectively. You’ll be given the opportunity to apply your new knowledge during the event by networking with fellow YPs over drinks and canapes after the presentations.

HOW TO ACCESS BUSINESS CHEMISTRY

Following registration you’ll be sent a link and instructions on how to access the self-assessment.  Once completed, you’ll immediately see your results, and be able to download your personalised profile.

All attendees at the event will be identified by their type on their name badges to support you to learn how to interact with others who are similar to and different from you.
