Learn how BI can improve the design and delivery of public policy and positively impact lives.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Behavioural Insights (BI) is emerging as a key tool for policy makers with over 200 BI teams in Governments globally. BI draws on evidence from behavioural economics, psychology and sociology to influence people’s choices. By understanding how people actually think and behave, BI can help shift individual’s behaviour by subtly changing the way decisions are presented.

The BI Breakfast will explore three key projects that leverage the power of BI to help solve complex societal problems. During the event speakers will outline the impact BI has had on increasing rural and remote teacher placements, increasing gender diversity in the public sector, and supporting farmers impacted by drought.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND

  • BI can help your organisation understand the way people think and ultimately make decisions.
  • The presenters will introduce key BI concepts and share their deep knowledge and experience of how to leverage BI to impact human behaviour.
  • You will have a chance to learn and discuss BI techniques and tools from leading experts in the field.

All IPAA events include purposeful networking which allows you to:

  • Build relationships with the speakers and fellow guests
  • Develop your capabilities
  • Establish connections across the NSW public sector

The team works across portfolios including: health, education, transport, justice, planning & environment, finance, services and Innovation, industry, skills and regional development.
