The Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) aims to increase representation and support women aspiring to public sector senior leadership roles. 

If you are a woman aspiring to  leadership this event will give you the skills needed to be your best.

Whether you're networking at an industry event, mingling at a conference, or introducing yourself to peers in the sector, mastering the art of the elevator pitch is an essential skill for all women wanting to succeed in their public sector career.

Nicole has worked in learning and development for over a decade in Australia, Asia and Europe. Her passion for people development has led her to work as an executive coach, key-note speaker and facilitator across all corporate levels, from C-Suite through to new managers, from front- to back-of-house. Equipped with a CEG Coaching qualification, a Masters of Business Administration, a Graduate Diploma in Education, and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Nicole focuses on developing highly successful leaders, who are impactful, creative and dynamic. In addition to her executive coaching work, key skill focus areas include emotional intelligence (EQ), creative thinking, women in leadership, communication and public speaking, impact and personal brand, and cultural diversity.  Nicole has over fifteen years of leadership experience herself. She has published several textbooks on the creative arts, which are widely used in the education sector in Australia. Nicole has also authored a business publication, Working In A Virtual World, published by Marshall Cavendish.
 
Nicole has coached and trained leaders across a range of industries including banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, consumer goods, retail, the media, professional services and IT. She has conducted face-to-face sessions in Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, India, Vietnam, The Philippines, Hong Kong and greater China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Italy and Australia. One of the unique value-adds Nicole brings to her coaching is her experience outside the corporate sector as an actor, director, and voice coach in the performing arts industry. During sessions she draws from EQ, leadership and interpersonal best practices from both the arts and business arenas, to assist leaders in becoming more communicative, self-aware and adaptable. Because of her arts experience, when needed Nicole is able to utilise acting skills to demonstrate techniques effectively and simulate workplace discussions realistically for coachees. Nicole also has a Bachelor of Communications and Culture and is a certified HBDI practitioner. Balancing her corporate training with her own personal learning development, Nicole is currently studying her PhD.
