Executive Director Breakfast: Cyber Risks & Leadership

Invitation Only Event

Please note that this is an invitation only event for senior public sector leaders

Is this event for you?

Do you need to stay ahead of emerging threats and understand the evolving landscape of cyber risks?

We often see cyber events as isolated threats like identity theft and fraud, but the real dangers can be much broader, affecting the operational security of critical infrastructure with serious physical and human consequences. Disrupting a city’s water supply, for instance, can cascade into energy grid failures, halt surgeries, and delay essential medical deliveries.

This isn’t just a tech issue—it’s a leadership challenge that requires a comprehensive approach across all levels of government.

Join Dr. Vladas Leonas, former Chief Information Officer of  the NSW Electoral Commission and TfNSW, and Lucy Mannering, Deloitte Cyber Partner, as they share a fresh perspective on cyber threats.

Gain insights on the latest in cybersecurity, privacy, and data breach management.

What will you gain?

  • A better understanding of how the physical and cyber are dependent and why technology dependencies increase the risks of cyber events that cause physical damage
  • Why highly efficient processes often cannot adapt quickly enough, and why faster decision-making is reliant on whole of Government leadership across all agencies
  • How your agency can act quickly on its own initiatives through the creation of whole of Government common goals

Connect with fellow senior leaders and experts in the field. This is a unique chance to expand your professional network and discuss challenges and solutions with those who understand the stakes.
