Drawing directly from the NSW Grants Administration Guide and related NSW Government resources, the course provides insights into robust planning, compliance, probity and transparency and value-for-money principles across the grant lifecycle.

You will also explore strategies for collaboration, risk management, and transparent decision-making aligned with government priorities.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Navigate the grant lifecycle using NSW Government best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Apply the seven key principles of grants administration from the NSW Grants Administration Guide: Robust Planning and Design, Collaboration and Partnership, Proportionality, Outcomes Orientation, Value for Money, Governance and Accountability, and Probity and Transparency.
  • Manage risks and implement effective financial controls proportionate to grant value and complexity.
  • Enhance grant design, monitoring, and evaluation to achieve public value and measurable outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders collaboratively and communicate expectations clearly.
