WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

You will leave this course with the skills to prepare for a meeting, write clear and effective minutes, and how to review your minutes for accuracy and grammar. 

You will also understand the purpose of meeting minutes and the dos and don’ts when taking minutes during a meeting. 

You will learn through an interactive range of scenarios, case studies, exercises and group discussions.   

After completing the course you will have build skills you can apply immediately to your workplace. These include:

  • preparing and circulating minutes prior to a meeting.
  • understanding the purpose of minutes and the role of the minute-taker.
  • developing listening skills to take accurate minutes and notes.
  • writing minutes and notes and review them for accuracy.
