This course is delivered over 4 x half days, commencing Thursday 30th July, then every Thursday ending on 20th August – 9.00AM to 12.00PM each day.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

Through interactive workshops, practical activities and real workplace application, you will build the mindset and skills needed to lead effectively in today's public sector environment.

You will:

• Strengthen your ability to reflect on your leadership practice and understand its impact on others
• Communicate direction, priorities and expectations clearly to support team outcomes
• Build your capability to develop people through feedback, coaching and everyday conversations
• Recognise and respond to performance challenges early and constructively
• Manage your own responses and adapt your leadership approach in complex or high-pressure situations
• Build stronger relationships with team members and stakeholders to support collaboration and outcomes

This hands-on program ensures you leave with practical tools and approaches you can apply immediately to strengthen team performance, support capability development and deliver better outcomes.

RPL: Successful completion of this course may provide Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) towards further study with TAFE NSW or Flinders University Online, subject to institutional requirements and assessment.

Leadership Fundamentals is for people at the Intermediate to Adept levels and you will develop the following capabilities:

• Personal attributes: Manage self.
• People Managers: Inspire direction and purpose.
• Badge will be provided on completion of the course.
